Working at Houdijk Holland guarantees you a job with variety and development in a company where everyone is open to new ideas. Every day you will work together with your colleagues on our advanced systems, which enable our customers to improve their production and thus reinforce their market position. Houdijk Holland’s systems encompass everything that is needed between the oven and the packaging. The process of creating a new machine is anything but straightforward. The projects are almost always large and consist of a wide variety of system components that all need to be produced in a different way. Close consultation with your colleagues is therefore essential. To maximise efficiency, we work in project groups. Because we no longer manufacture everything ourselves, we also depend on our own suppliers in this process.

The majority of the systems we develop are destined for export, given that most major producers operate abroad. Today, the market is fully international, as we could not survive within the Dutch market alone. Despite our Dutch working language, you can sense this international character when you work at Houdijk Holland. Many of the positions entail foreign business travel.

We work hard as a team, but besides all the hard work there is also a need for relaxation and socialising. Sporting activities such as cycling or sailing are organised regularly, as well as gaming competitions. In summer and winter, we even organise our own Houdijk Games. There are also culinary initiatives, such as the annual Great Houdijk Bake Off.
