In order to provide our customers with fast and quality service, we are looking for more field service technicians from Atlanta, GA to help our customers in the United States and Canada install, commission, train, troubleshoot, maintain and repair feeding and sorting machines. from Royal Houdijk.

Job description:

As a Field Service Technician, you have a critical role in providing technical support to our customers in the United States and Canada. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of advanced machinery for the biscuit industry that Royal Houdijk installs and maintains around the world. Some of your responsibilities;

• Carrying out preventive maintenance on machines
• Troubleshooting and technical problems
• Supporting customers in the use of our machines
• Training customers in the correct operation and maintenance of the machines
• Reporting findings to the team and management

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or 2-year technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechatronics or similar or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of work experience in a similar position.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting machine issues -Mechanical and electrical.
• Excellent communication skills; speaking and writing in English.
• Willingness to travel frequently and acutely. Up to 90% within US/ Canada (Typically Monday- Friday) Occasional travel to Europe for training and corporate events.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Valid passport.
